Watch TV in Two Rooms with One Reelplay Subscription
Want to watch the news in one room while someone else watches a different channel? A Reelplay Multiroom box lets you watch different TV channels in different rooms while sharing your existing active subscription within the same household.
You need a main Reelplay device with an active subscription. The additional Multiroom device is paired with your main box; it does not include a separate new subscription.
How does Reelplay Multiroom work?
Each television needs its own compatible Reelplay box. Your main device and paired Multiroom devices share the household subscription, while each viewer uses their own remote to choose what to watch.
You can add up to five Multiroom boxes within the same household. An active subscription on your main Reelplay device is required.
What do you need for a second TV?
To watch in another room, you need:
- An existing Reelplay device with an active subscription.
- A paired Reelplay Multiroom box for the additional television.
- A compatible TV or monitor with HDMI or AV input.
- An internet connection in the additional room.
- Two AAA batteries for the remote control.
The Multiroom device includes a remote control, power supply, HDMI cable and Quick Start Guide.

Wi-Fi, Ethernet or powerline adapters?
Choose the connection method that suits the room.
Wi-Fi: Useful when your home wireless network provides a stable connection near the additional TV. The Multiroom box does not extend your router’s Wi-Fi coverage.
Ethernet: Connect the box directly to your router with a network cable where practical.
Powerline adapters: Carry the network connection through your home’s electrical wiring. Connect one adapter to your router and the other to the Multiroom box using Ethernet cables. Performance depends on the electrical wiring and network conditions.
The Reelplay Multiroom bundle includes a Netcomm NP511 powerline twin pack. Browse Reelplay accessories for Multiroom devices and connection options.
Do you pay for another subscription?
A paired Multiroom box shares your existing active household subscription, so an additional subscription is not required. You still need to purchase the additional equipment and keep the main subscription active.
Multiroom is for use within the same household.
Can you watch different channels at the same time?
Yes. Viewers can select different channels on their respective boxes. Your internet connection needs to support the devices watching at the same time.
Can you use the TV guide and rewind?
The Multiroom device provides an on-screen TV guide and Reeltime rewind, with rewind available for up to seven days on supported channels. Availability depends on the channel and programme.
What if you do not have a Reelplay subscription yet?
Start with a TV box package that includes service. Compare Arabic TV packages, Greek TV packages or Italian TV packages before adding a Multiroom device.
